Job description

Summary: Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified Master Resilience Trainer - Performance Expert (Level 3) for Master Resilience Training/Training Center Support (MRT/TCS) to support to the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G9, Directorate of Prevention, Resilience, and Readiness (DPRR) for the purpose of increasing the physical and psychological health, resilience, and performance of Soldiers, Families, and Department of the Army Civilians, Department of the Defense Personnel, Contractors supporting R2 Programs, United States (US) Government Agencies, and Allied Forces. DPRR ensures the training programs, services, and tools offered complement one another, are not duplicative, are outcome based, and are standardized across the Army to include the reserve components. Furthermore, DPRR ensures that all training have demonstrated effectiveness, applying accepted methodology with scientifically demonstrated effectiveness.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: Shall coordinate and attend Master Resilience Trainer (MRT) level two, three or four course as a student, and observe instructors providing training and provide feedback on delivery of training. Shall prepare and provide a training schedule plan and implement once approved. Shall facilitate the training event, grade student course materials, and document student grades in required databases.Required Qualifications: Shall at a minimum, possess a MA/MS degree from an accredited college or university in the field of Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling Education, Coaching Education, or Kinesiology with a specialized emphasis in sport and/or performance psychology.

Must have 3-9 years' experience as a Master Resilience Trainer. Shall have teaching or coaching experience, preferably with military and DOD personnel. Prior to performing MRT-PE tasks, MRT-PEs shall have graduated from the Army's Master Resilience Training Course and must be a certified Level 3 MRT PE graduate.

Preferred MRT qualifications include certifications or memberships within a professional association related to their field of study such as the Association for Applied Sports Psychology (AASP), Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) or American Board of Sport Psychology (ABSP). Clearance: Must pass a NACI Background Investigation.
