POSITION SUMMARY:
The Material Master Data Specialist will be accountable for the execution of Company procedures involving new or changed materials in the ERP system. The position will track the progress of New Material Requests from when it released to Master Data until the New Material Introduction (NMI) is sent to pricing. This position is critical to maintaining accurate data that facilitates the mass production and sale of finished goods.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New Material Creation:
    • Utilize Master Data NMI Database to manage new material creation.
    • Create New Materials in SAP ensuring accurate data is entered/transferred into correct locations, including Material Master, Bill of Materials from Recipe Management Work Bench (RMWB), Recipe and Recipe Group, Task List, Cert Profile
  • Formula Updates:
    • Process formula updates as generated through RMWB workflow (including updating Material Master and recreating BOM, Task List, Cert Profile) and post-read existing process orders to ensure formula updates are active.
  • Quality Management Support:
    • Process formula hold requests utilizing Formula Hold Database
    • Create NG material numbers for non-conforming materials.
    • Enter "Dump Back" inventory to Process Orders based on Daily Sheet
    • Assist in troubleshooting issues with COA's, Recipes, BOM's, etc.
  • General:
    • Performs other related tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor and back-up peers as needed.
    • Perform Mass Change transactions in support or Mass Change MOC process.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Microsoft Office experience (especially Word and Excel) and working knowledge of SAP preferred.
  • Data entry experience preferred.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills including ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form using a variety of communication techniques and tools to ensure appropriate flow of information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
