We have been engaged by a confidential client to find an experienced Master Electrician to join a dynamic and growing team. Position Overview: The Master Electrician will oversee all aspects of electrical work on a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. This role requires extensive knowledge of electrical systems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, layout, and install electrical systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
  • Interpret and apply electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor apprentice and journeyman electricians.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
  • Estimate materials, labor, and time requirements for projects.
  • Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including time, materials, and labor used.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and electrical code changes through continuous education and training.

Qualifications:


  • Valid Master Electrician license in New Jersey.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a licensed electrician, with significant experience in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Proficient in the use of electrical tools, equipment, and testing devices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
