Vita Coco is seeking Master Data Specialistfor a new role in our Operations department. This role will work with all departments of the operations team to ensure the integrity of Master Data for our US and Canada operations. Master Data Specialist to report directly to the Director of Planning and Inventory Management, Americas. This role will be based out of our HQ-NY Office; we currently have a 2-3 days-per-week in-office requirement, to work from our Manhattan office.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all Supply Chain Master Data item set-up and maintenance in SAP and MDM.
• Own the lifecycle of SKUs for Americas market and work with team to review quarterly ensuring data is updated in a timely manner.
• Work closely with our Optimization team in Singapore office to ensure and act as ATC (air traffic control) for any changes being pushed into the market.
• Own & automate the UPC book to make necessary data available to other parts of the organization. Be the point person for the rest of the organization (outside of Ops team) for any SKU Master Data.
• Project manage any Master Data updates through the supply chain. Build out timelines with all necessary steps and ensure all supply chain departments are informed of changes.
• Support the roll out of new Master Data Management tool, working cross-functionally with IT & finance, ensuring Operations data is available as needed. Create documentation for workflow and processes and train team members on this.
• Work with IT team to automate Master Data activity where appropriate.
• Be the expert for supply chain Master Data and provide guidance to the team to ensure best practice is followed in all departments.
• Act as quality control for SKU Master Data and work with functional teams to correct data as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher, ideally in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of seniority within multiple departments both internally and externally.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP
• Experience with MDM tools such as Informatica is a bonus!

At The Vita Coco Company, compensation decisions are dependent upon a variety of factors, which may include, but are not limited to: skill set, experience, education, training, licensure and certifications, knowledge and abilities of the applicant, alignment with market data, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $80,000-$85,000. This range may vary for positions that will be performed outside of California, Colorado, Nevada, New York City, Westchester County, NY, Rhode Island, or Washington.
