Job Description
The Master Data Management Specialist is responsible analyzing Master Data and business process information to provide guidance and insight that will drive adoption of processes for maintaining data that will minimize resistance and enable reporting to drive business decisions. The Master Data Specialist will work collaboratively with data owners and data stewards to ensure data is accurate, consistent, complete, timely, available, and secure.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop automated scripts for the uploading of Master Data into SAP
- Maintain the accuracy of Material Master, BOM/Recipes and Business Partner within SAP; including entering of the data into SAP
- Work with all business functional areas to ensure accuracy of Master Data
- Apply a structured methodology for the documenting of data process flows within Loparex business
- Facilitate all Master Data Management documentation, while ensuring cross-functional adoption and approval
- Document the Standards and work instruction format for transactional approval of Master Data Management
- Effectively manage the day-to-day activities to ensure completion of key tasks and activities related to ensuring accuracy and that all Master Data is current
- Execute deliverables based on timeline and plan related to the Master Data needs of the organization
SECONDARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge of SAP S4/Hana and related modules such as Concur, OpenText, Learning Hub and Enable Now
- Ability to write standardized documented procedures / work instructions for a global ERP/MES platform
- Ability to develop Gantt chart for project planning
- Position may require travel including international destinations
- May also require working on different time zone while in the US
JOB SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience
- Experience in Change Management processes, Data Management, process flow development
- Experience with Implementing and Supporting Business Process Management Software for the management of Master Data (WinShuttle as example)
- Advanced skills in SAPS/4 Hanna
- Experience in Microsoft Office preferred, especially Teams and Excel
- Experience with Winshuttle Studio and Winshuttle Evolve desired
- Good organization and planning skills with ability to develop multifaceted project plans
- Strong analytical skills, ability to process and structure qualitative and quantitative data in a way that can be shared with others to help facilitate informed business decision making
- Skilled at active listening, written and verbal communication
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving, growing and innovative organization
- Proven ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with peers and providing leadership or guidance as needed
- Actively seeks and solicits feedback, especially related to critical projects
