Job description

We are working with a small, entrepreneurial trial and litigation boutique, currently eight (8) strong. The firm, having a  home base in Dallas, Texas, has just opened its New Jersey office in a location adjacent to the train station (conducive to easy commuting), as the situs for its Mass Torts practice.  The firm is offering a ground floor opportunity for a smart, ambitious, hard-working Mass Torts Litigation Attorney, willing to forgo the usual trappings of a large law firm, to help it grow its Newark practice.

Qualified candidates will be outstanding writers, as all of the firm’s written work product must be clear, concise, and correct. They will also have two to five (2-5) years of litigation experience, preferably including at least one (1) year of experience at a Mass Torts firm; however, personal injury, medical malpractice, or even insurance defense experience may be acceptable. The successful, qualified candidate will be determined to build the firm’s practice and to outwork, outsmart, and out-strategize opposing counsel, at every turn, to win cases for clients.  Compensation will consist of a $120,000-$150,000  base salary (precise amount will depend upon attorney experience), bonuses, health insurance, and other employee benefits (to be described in further detail by the firm).
