We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Mass Excavation Foreman. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of excavation projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of excavation crew members, providing guidance and support throughout the project.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and execute excavation activities.
- Conduct site inspections to assess project requirements, identify potential risks, and develop appropriate safety measures.
- Operate and maintain heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, and loaders, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, equipment usage, and material inventory.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Mass Excavation Foreman (3 years minimum), with a deep understanding of excavation techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges that may arise during excavation projects.
- Proficient in operating heavy equipment and familiar with industry-standard software and tools.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and any necessary certifications or licenses required for operating heavy equipment.
- References for previous work in this position are required.
