Summary
- From a regional standpoint, this position is the strategic leader for matters relates to Supply Chain Services and the Regional Affiliate Program (GPO). For the Maryville Medical Center, Albany Medical center, and all regional clinics, this position is responsible for successfully executing Supply Chain services, strategy, and cost containment for the regional organization. From a system aspect, this position will coordinate the Regional Affiliate Program (GPO) representing the interest of the Mosaic organization, including activities around going the regional affiliate network and providing our member's partnership value. More specifically, for Maryville Medical Center, this position is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and the overall performance of all Supply Chain Caregivers. This position leads but is not limited to providing supplies to all Maryville inventory locations, including all floors designated for Supply Chain management control and the related clinic network. They are responsible for designated Maryville PAR locations and associated supply level management, supply level algorithms, optimization in number or content, and coordination of necessary stock levels with customers. They are also responsible for all ECRI supply and implant recalls affecting the MLC inventory and supply network. In accordance with ECRI, this role will also oversee and supervise the destruction of all expired and recalled inventory, including coordinating for all regional medical centers efforts around system centralized purchasing, sourcing, GPO, fleet management, print shop, capital, Biomed, logistics, and supply distribution. They are responsible for the regional warehouse location in Maryville and the related inventory management strategy for the system.Supply Chain Operations Manager works under the supervision of the Vice President of Supply Chain Management, and is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
Duties
- Timely completion of Kronos timekeeping process.
- Provides monthly department staff meetings
- Ensures staff training requirements are met.
- Completes monthly department update report (DUM).
- Maintains and reports on department measurements.
- Timely completion of staff performance evaluations.
- Timely OFI follow-up.
- Completes AEPC Recognition process (TY notes).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma is required.
- Chauffeurs license is required within 30 days.
- 8 years of warehouse/distribution experience, as well as 8 years of managing direct reports is preferred.
