Martial Arts Instructor

We are searching for an enthusiastic and energetic Martial Arts Instructor to join our team. Duties include providing and planning safe, fun and energetic classes within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Incorporating positive character development principles in your lesson plans
• Adapting the lessons to meet students' needs and abilities
• Supervise all classroom activity and set goals for students to improve Martial Arts skills
• Planning events for parents, students, and the community at large
• Communicate and work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents
• Develop positive relationships with students that promotes wellness, growth, respect, discipline and self-esteem
• Act as a positive role model for students
• Ensure classroom environment is clean and safe
• Attend staff meetings and professional development training

Qualification, Skills and Knowledge Requirements

• At least 1 year Martial Arts experience
• Black Belt certification is a plus
• Ability to inspire, motivate and empower students through movement
• Strong group and classroom management skills
• Must have solid communication skills
• Must be able to work between 3pm to 9pm, Monday - Friday, and Weekends as requested
