About The Role

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Marketing Coordination

    • Assist with coordination of marketing projects that involve graphic designers, photographers, copywriters, and production managers for marketing assets from development through full production. 
    • Move project through channels of approval and coordinate with vendors to move files to various media reps for ad placement. 
    • Schedule photo shoots, location scouting, model procurement, etc. Works production days for variety of tasks needed.
    • Assist with creative development the creative schedule to ensure projects are finished on time, and in accordance to brand standards and marketing strategy.
    • Assist with and create in-house graphics and marketing materials to be utilized in a variety of formats.
    • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to brand standards, are accurate, current, and effective.
    • Work with GBCI compliance to ensure marketing materials are within company policy guidelines. 

Social Media

    • Collaborate with Marketing Manager to develop social media strategy and posts to engage WSB customers and page "fans" to create conversation.
    • Work with necessary vendors and compliance to ensure that all posts and interactions are within GBCI social media policy guidelines.
    • Manage comments that come through social media accounts.
    • Create social media posting calendar and schedule necessary posts, utilizing a mix of post types including brand awareness, product, bank events and promotions, etc.
    • Develop assets that ensure all social media accounts meet brand standards and represent enterprise. 

General Duties 

    • Update the website and marketing section of the intranet.
    • Perform daily maintenance/updates to ensure information contained on website is current, consistent with bank products/services, visually attractive, and user friendly at direction of the Marketing Manager.
    • Coordinate development and scheduling of. email marketing campaigns. 
    • Provide internal marketing resources as needed.
    • Make frequent branch visits to ensure that all branches are using up to-date collateral items, update collateral material on a regular basis or as requested by compliance.
    • Prepare promotional item order proposals as inventory and stock levels are needed.
    • Work with the Marketing Manager and other bank officers/management when necessary to coordinate, oversee and assist with bank sponsored events.
    • Position performs other duties as needed/assigned

Customer Relations

    • Develop strategies and tools designed to improve external customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
    • Adhere to Western Security Bank Company Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Service Principles.
    • Provide superior internal and external customer service: must demonstrate self-governance, courtesy, and respect toward external customers as well as internal customers.
    • Demonstrate a “customers come first” approach when prioritizing tasks.
    • Maintains a professional, courteous, service-oriented relationship with all internal and external customers.
    • Will participate in community events and activities to enhance the image of Western Security Bank and develop relationships within the area in which we serve.

Compliance

    • Ensure marketing materials and department are compliant with established procedures, bank policies, and government regulations. 

Miscellaneous Duties

    • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
    • Complete required bank and OnCourse training courses within assigned time frame(s).
    • Represent Western Security Bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, a positive “can-do” attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility and adaptability in meeting bank and customer needs. 
    • Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy.
    • Attends and participates in meetings as required.
    • Additional duties as requested or assigned.

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • 3 years work experience in Marketing or related field. 
  • Demonstrated working experience with social media branding/identity preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Environment:  Indoors, a climate-controlled shared work area. Must be able to work outdoors and travel to business meetings and/or events sponsored by the bank.

Noise Level:  Moderate noise.

Lifting:  Sedentary work: Exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
