We are looking for a Marketing & Proposal Specialist to join our Rogers team. 

In this role you will play a pivotal role in driving OWN's growth through the development of high-quality, winning proposals and actively participating in various other marketing and business development efforts. While the primary focus involves proposal preparation, this role offers opportunity to contribute across diverse aspects of the marketing and business development department. If you have a passion for design and creativity coupled with an appreciation for efficient processes, this role could be an ideal match. 

What you will do:

  • Leads proposal development efforts including overall design and layout, writing resumes and boilerplate content, proofing technical content, soliciting input from teammates, facilitating meetings, creating and imposing deadlines, and corresponding with external subconsultants
  • Works closely with subject matter experts to craft compelling and tailored responses
  • Produces quality interview presentations and materials
  • Assists in identifying and pursuing RFQ opportunities aligned with strategic goals
  • Develops and maintains a centralized database of proposal content, case studies, references, and other insights and metrics
  • Maintains OWN's internal systems for information management related to people, projects, and pursuits
  • Monitors and implements industry trends in proposal innovation, design, and process efficiencies
  • Works closely with business development leaders to coordinate and support business development needs, including event planning and CRM updates
  • Works with the marketing team to help prepare general marketing collateral for internal and external needs

You will be a great fit if you:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or similar
  • Have Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry knowledge 
  • Proven experience in proposal coordination or a related field
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Are familiar with Google Workspace
  • Approach design with creativity and discipline
  • Have a love for processes, proofing and error-checking.
  • Are extremely detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Are organized and can handle multiple tasks at once
  • Enjoy taking initiative and are self motivated
  • Understand analytics that translate to marketing KPIs
  • Have a love for trying new things and continued learning
  • Take ownership of your role and assignments
  • Are an active member of the design and marketing community
