Job Title: Marketing Operations Analyst
Reports To: Director, Marketing Operations

FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Marketing

Benefit: Eligible

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

The Marketing Operations Analyst will be responsible for analyzing key performance metrics designed to measure campaign performance and marketing return on investment. The goal of this role is to assist the marketing team with strategic growth through analysis on marketing campaign focus in relation to return on marketing and sales goals. The top candidate will be able to excel in a fast-paced environment and have strong data and reporting skills.

What your responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reporting.
  • Produce and maintain metrics reports for online and offline marketing campaigns, promotions and sales activities to determine effectiveness and business impact to drive campaign optimization.
  • Evaluate industry trends, market conditions and conduct competitive analysis to analyze benchmarks and identify new opportunities.
  • Measure the lead and customer acquisition cost for each marketing channel and adjust spend to maximize ROI.
  • Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates) & optimize channel through learnings.
  • Monitor budget distribution in relation to performance of advertising campaigns.
  • Present analysis and strategy recommendations to marketing and sales leadership.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for new client acquisition.
  • Manage data and reporting from key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Build and execute targeted campaigns, workflows, and detailed reports in Salesforce/Pardot.
  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management.
  • Source and acquire qualified marketing target lists; upload, maintain and clean Salesforce CRM database for effective campaign execution to appropriate targets.

What you bring to the table:

  • 4+ years of experience in related field/industry
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong experience and track record of success in and scaling of marketing reporting and analytics to drive strategic growth.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment, work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and ensure high quality deliverables with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote and sell products and services.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting & Pardot a plus.

General Qualifications:


  • 4+ years of experience in related field/industry bachelor’s degree
  • Able to communicate in the English language.
  • Able to organize and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power Point
  • Experience with CRM & marketing automation tools (Salesforce/Pardot a plus)
