Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Manager, Marketing; Private Client Relations, serves to liaise with Saks Fifth Avenue's (SFA) most discerning clients to create meaningful, unique and individualized experiences. The Manager, Marketing; Private Client Relations will operate with clearly defined return on investment goals for sales and client acquisition and development. This person plays a key leadership role in the store and will liaise between the store, the Corporate Marketing Team, and our Limitless Program partners. This role will focus on SFA New York's top 300 clients with a laser focus on the Top 100, creating client strategies, driving the business and maximizing exposure for Saks Fifth Avenue in the local marketplace. You Also Have:
A preferred minimum of 5 years relevant experience working in luxury retail and in a clienteling space
The ability to learn and master various programs and applications, including Clientelling and Social Media platforms
Strong understanding of company brand
Available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
Has the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with people
Proven ability to research, present opportunities and execute partnerships in the community that form the basis of an aggressive outreach/acquisition client program
Ability to negotiate contracts and manage budgets
Focused on attention to detail, taking initiative, and creating a positive working environment
Ability to work well with others, as well as the ability to work independently to drive a successful event
Willing and able to relocate anywhere in North America, as required
As The Manager, Marketing; Private Client Relations, You Will:
Execute store based top client experiences, including after-hour experiences, local itineraries for top client visits, small group shopping events, and arranging hospitality for special top-client appointments
Support store-based selling initiatives that relate to Limitless clients and top sellers, including jewelry transaction strategy, participation in exclusive product launches, special order programs, and special brand takeovers in-store
Liaise with store Marketing and Limitless teams in all program initiatives to build a strategy and identify opportunities to recruit, retain & cultivate high potential NY based clients for SFA Limitless Program
Support "Shop NY" and the Metro NY Store top client strategy by creating elevated in-store experiences for clients visiting from out of town stores
Oversee New York Fashion Week's partnership (top client coordination and reporting) with the Fifth Avenue Club to improve service for out of town stores and the NY based clients
Oversee Fashion Week partnerships in Milan and Paris (top client coordination and reporting) with the Fifth Avenue Club
Drive attendance and participation of engagement opportunities and events through relationships cultivated with Style Advisors, clients and partners
Liaise between the General Manager and the Corporate Marketing Team to analyze store's existing client base and define opportunities to develop existing customers
Develops strategic and creative events that drive traffic and increase customer sales; analyze event results to assess ROI
Effectively collaborates with key business partners across multiple functions to drive marketing strategy such as Million Dollar Books, Journey to a Million, Brand Ambassadors, and Fifth Avenue Club Style Advisors
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $75,000 and $80,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
