Job DescriptionWhat we’re looking for:
Farm Progress is seeking a Marketing Manager to strategically develop and implement advertising, marketing, and communication programs to continue to build brand awareness. The Marketing Manager supports all internal communication initiatives and events to ensure clear communication and brand representation across the agricultural industry.
Role Accountability and Duties:
- Work with the Director of Marketing to develop and execute all strategic and tactical marketing initiatives and plans
- Create, execute, and monitor marketing/media communication plans, including print, programmatic messaging, online, tradeshows, and social media opportunities
- Manage a wide variety of strategic tactics that involve event graphics/signs and other marketing tools, marketing campaign reports, competitive profiles, assembling tradeshow materials
- Ensure timely execution of all marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives
- Align marketing strategies with tactics for show websites, email campaigns, social media, and other marketing channels
- Develop and maintain collateral, rate cards, sell sheets, and additional materials related to marketing/sales.
- Collaborate to drive marketing qualified leads through campaign activities to targeted customers
- Work with the sales team to articulate the product value proposition and champion the product internally and externally through the development of client presentations, product decks, case studies, and collateral
- Ensure all marketing materials are designed and produced to brand guidelines and expectations
- Utilize customer and competitive research to influence strategy and craft effective messaging for emails, landing pages, show websites, digital ads, and other marketing materials.
- Ability to achieve and exceed targeted, quantifiable goals and objectives based on the overall strategic initiatives of the portfolio
- Travel to industry events as needed – up to 25%
- Special projects as needed
- B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing
- 5-7 years of experience in a Mid-Level Marketing Position
- Knowledge of marketing data (digital, automation), programmatic programs, social platforms, and CRM systems
- Demonstrated ability to communicate objectives, strategies, tactics, and meaningful measurement to non-analytical partners
- Ability to leverage visualization platforms for storytelling
- Experience with a variety of data stores, including CDPs
- Ability to collaborate with external partners
- Experience in SEO and SEM marketing tactics to drive ROI
- Experience in traditional marketing
- Strong digital acumen
- Proficient in MS Office product suite
- Highly organized with excellent project management skills who can multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
- Proven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualization
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including delivering engaging presentations, clear reports, and actionable insights
- Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

- The pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.
