Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is charged with monitoring, measuring, and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall company's goals. He or she will also manage the relationship between marketing and sales to ensure that both sides are optimized to deliver and work the highest quality leads. The Marketing Manager will make predictions about the quality of the sales and marketing pipeline and spot efficiencies that will make the company work better as a whole. The Marketing Manager will create scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. He/she will also conduct complex data analyses that will be used to inform strategic decisions by stakeholders from across the company. The Marketing Manager will lead the marketing department and initiatives, with a focus on analysis of program effectiveness. 

This Marketing Manager must be highly organized, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and be able to see multi-step tasks and assignments through to completion on a consistent and frequent basis.  The ideal candidate for this role has a positive can-do attitude, is thorough, adaptable, and motivated to actively support and enable an environment where all of our team members and our customers can be successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in B2B campaigns and lead management.
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database.
  • Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance.
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
  • Help MarketingTeam leads set, allocate, and monitor the goals and budget of each project.
  • Responsible for planning, creating, and executing marketing campaigns to expand the company's reach and potential customer pipeline.
  • Research previous successful campaigns to understand what worked, what didn't, and what can be improved.  Review the progress and success of a campaign, making adjustments or pitching ideas for new campaigns as necessary.
  • Oversee the team responsible for planning and execution of marketing events such as conferences, tradeshows, and webinars.
  • Oversee the team responsible for the company’s online presence, social media channels, and sales support activities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and marketing activities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with vendors.
  • Consistently demonstrate a Strong Work Ethic and represent Fotona with Integrity and Professionalism.

​Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience creating and optimizing systems and processes for improved business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills (including mastery of Microsoft Excel, Salesforce) and experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Strategist or Marketing Manager.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems and integrating those systems with other technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
  • Data analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Analytical, structured, and organized with great attention to detail.
  • Technology-savvy, and familiar with marketing analysis and automation software.
  • Proven experience in coordinating marketing campaigns and managing marketing channels.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of current trends associated with Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other marketing reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a team.
  • Collaborative team player who takes ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Excellent ability to build positive relationships and facilitate productive interactions with internal and external customers in various geographic locations across the United States and among diverse groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Office Suite Google Docs and Smartsheets experience.
  • Passionate about innovation and advancing the standard of care in aesthetic, dental, and laser medicine.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours when required, including travel to occasional tradeshows and marketing events.
  • Ability to stand, push/pull, bend, squat, stretch, reach, twist/turn, walk, and reach throughout the day, and ability to work at a computer and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally, ability to push/pull very heavy equipment on wheels/casters occasionally.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing operations or analysis or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience in marketing, including:  Strong analytical skills and confidence working with large sets of data and experience creating and optimizing systems and processes for improved business outcomes.
