About the Role:
The Marketing Intern role demands a dynamic individual with a strong professional drive and a passion for learning. With a solid understanding of diverse marketing techniques, the position centers on fostering innovation and creativity. Collaboration with internal teams is key, particularly in exploring, evaluating, and planning marketing projects. Proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp and HubSpot ensures effective tracking and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The role also involves engaging with a wide range of educational contacts, making experience in the education sector, especially K-12, highly beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Content Manager in developing upcoming campaigns, including emails, blogs, social media posts, and awards applications.
- Research and apply for education awards to enhance brand recognition.
- Conduct SEO keyword research, analyze trending hashtags, and identify educational influencers to optimize content reach.
- Generate both long-form and short-form content for Proximity Learning and #TeachersServeToo initiatives.
- Coordinate project tasks, monitor progress, review milestones, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Demonstrate proficiency in strategic SEO tactics to improve content visibility.
- Exhibit persistence, professionalism, and the ability to devise action plans based on thorough content landscape analysis.
- Quickly acquire product and competitive knowledge, showing a passion for educational equity.
- Manage projects and teams effectively, whether remotely or onsite, demonstrating exceptional administrative skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Majoring in marketing, communications, writing, or PR at an accredited college or university.
- Experience in meeting deadlines and regularly communicating project status.
- Familiarity with project management tools and CRM systems is advantageous.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented approach with a tenacious work ethic.
- Proficiency in data analytics to inform decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Prior experience in educational marketing or related fields is preferred.
