The Role
IRIS.TV is looking for a Summer Marketing Research Intern. This is a paid internship. As a marketing research intern, you'll help turn data into insights for the entire IRIS.TV team. In this role, you'll use your analytical and storytelling skills to share data-backed perspectives that inform critical business decisions.
Location
Remote. Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred
Responsibilities
- Support the execution of primary and secondary research initiatives by applying a variety of research methodologies and techniques including online surveys, in-depth interviews, marketplace analysis, and competitive research
- Analyze, organize, and distill both quantitative and qualitative data into key insights; package insights into comprehensive and cohesive internal reports
- Serve as research liaison with internal stakeholders, regularly sharing findings with broader marketing and sales teams
Qualifications
- Internship will last approximately 1x semester
- Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater at time of application
- At time of application, you must be enrolled in an educational institution
- Ideally working towards marketing, business, economics, or other research-driven degree
- If undergrad, must be a final year student
- Strong Excel & Powerpoint skills
- Experience finding insights/telling stories using data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bonus points if you have experience with
- Hands-on experience with modern Video AdServers and SSPs, such as Freewheel, SpringServe, GAM, and/or Publica; Magnite, SpotX, Xandr, Index, etc.
- MVPD/Content Distribution Partners such as Sling/Dish, Xumo, Fubo, etc.
- Prior roles have varied practical experience across more than one pillar of the CTV Lumascape
- Knowledge of code platforms such as Airtable and Zapier as well as experience in data visualization tools such as Google DataStudio a plus
