Position Overview
Arlo is in search of a Marketing Specialist to support a DoD government customer. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various Marketing Events to promote our products or services and enhance brand visibility. Your role will involve managing all aspects of event planning, from conceptualization to post-event analysis, to ensure successful outcomes and positive attendee experiences.

Remote with some traveling within the U.S. (20-30%)
Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors
Event Planning and Execution:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute Marketing Events, including seminars, conferences, trade shows, product launches, and promotional events.
- Coordinate logistics, such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, transportation, and accommodations.
- Develop event timelines, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to deadlines and financial targets.
- Oversee onsite event setup, registration, and coordination of staff and vendors to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage all aspects of event execution, including program agenda, speaker management, entertainment, and attendee engagement activities.
Promotion and Marketing:
- Develop marketing strategies to promote events and drive attendance, utilizing various channels such as email marketing, social media, digital advertising, and traditional media.
- Create compelling event messaging, content, and promotional materials to attract target audiences and generate interest.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate event promotion into overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor and track event registrations, RSVPs, and ticket sales, and implement strategies to maximize attendance and participation.
Relationship Building:
- Cultivate relationships with event partners, sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders to support event objectives and enhance the attendee experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to align event objectives with broader business goals.
- Act as a primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and communications, providing timely responses and support to stakeholders.
Post-Event Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze event data, feedback, and attendee metrics to measure ROI and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Generate comprehensive event reports and insights to inform future event strategies and recommendations for optimization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field. Advanced degree or certification in Event Management is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience marketing and developing communication strategies for small and large events, with a proven track record of successfully meeting or exceeding attendance goals.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and executing small and large events.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Experience with Cvent or equivalent event management platform
- Proficient Microsoft Office and Adobe skills highly desired

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
