Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Marketing & Brand Intern will directly support the Brand Development Team and Bozzuto Management Company by enhancing the revenue of properties through effective brand and property marketing. The Brand Development intern supports business activities delivering impactful and meaningful programs, campaigns and communication strategies that position Bozzuto properties as a market leader.
As the Marketing & Brand Intern(6/3/2024 - 8/9/2024) , your primary responsibilities include:
- Learn critical lead management and tracking systems.
- Setup, manage and troubleshoot property accounts.
- Use tracking tools, such as phone numbers and tracking URLs to effectively monitor campaign success. Gather reporting and assist in analyzing lead management data, including traffic and ad source performance.
- Understand and communication Google Analytics reporting for property websites.
- Understand unique marketing needs of each property and deliver marketing programs and materials that meet expectations of all stakeholders.
- As a part of the BMC Marketing team, you are expected to communicate effectively, help drive execution, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values. Bring fresh ideas and new marketing trends to meetings.
- Assist the brand development with core responsibilities and coordinate with operations, vendors, and clients in an effective and timely manner.
- Assist in proposal writing and soliciting requests from agencies.
- Prepare corresponding pricing matrix to share with clients.
- Coordinate floor plan, key plan, and tier plate drawings between developer, operations and agencies.
- Work with freelancers to create print collateral and online media pieces to be used by property management team.
- Manage print production of all collateral materials with in-house print vendor.
- Research and create point of interest lists to be used for websites, collateral and other required pieces. Obtain approval from client and operations.
- Drive properties' performance by assisting with all marketing efforts.
- Set up property internet listings, coordinate contracts and perform regular audits and updates from internet checklists
- Coordinate media contracts, update media schedules and provide cost data for reporting
- Track projects with vendors through Basecamp including collateral, signage and photography; perform site visits as needed to coordinate installs and quality checks
- Assist in maintaining Bozzuto brand standards across all marketing and advertising including promotions, merchandizing and events.
- Maintain and update web content for property websites, Bozzuto.com and all internet listings.
- Learn and use Content Management Systems to update property websites.
- Deliver and implement all marketing efforts on-time and on-budget.
- Execute specific marketing recommendations throughout the year for lease-up properties including: events, email marketing, social media contests and promotions
- Develop skills for a brand development specialist position to support the new business portfolio of assets. Make recommendations to update collateral materials, advertising, and signage.
- Develop relationships with operations and vendors.
- Ensure property information and messaging is accurate across all ad sources.
- Assist in development of annual marketing budgets for each property in conjunction with the brand development manager.
- Coordinate new media setup and cancellations.
What You Bring to Us:
- Currently enrolled in undergraduate school and majoring in marketing (preferred), communications or business.
- Superior oral and written communication skills including a capacity to effectively present to a variety of audiences
- Proficiency with Photoshop and InDesign
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Self-starter with strong time management skills who excels at working in a fast-paced environment
