Marketing & Brand Coordinator

F&G is looking for aMarketing & Brand Coordinator to provide support for Corporate Marketing department functions. We operate within a regulated industry, so our materials can be complicated and very specific. We require strict attention to language, product, and process. This position's primary responsibility is to administer and report within the Jira Marketing workflow system, coordinate Corporate Marketing projects, administer the ad review process, and manage our inventory of promotional items. Our growing team is currently working a hybrid schedule or remote, but is largely based in Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities

The Marketing & Brand Coordinator position will support the entire Corporate Marketing function to:

• Train and manage onboarding for new employees in Jira workflow and train the specific user for their actions and responsibilities within the process.
• Lead day-to-day work by monitoring Jira Marketing Request Board, confirming data coming into the system is complete, dates are properly timed out and the workflow steps are being accounted for.
• Administer the ad review process, record creation and submission process.
• Manage daily and quarterly expiration / discontinuation process for materials, working with stakeholders to properly expire, version end-date or update their ad review expiration.
• Advocate for and initiate the enhancements of the system that houses our Marketing workflow process, collaborate with the system administrator to ensure an efficient and effective system.
• Process invoices for Corporate Marketing
• Manage requests and work with vendors to produce, house and ship promotional items.
• Edit and document processes as needed.
• Other duties as identified and assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related degree is preferred for this position.
• Relevant marketing and administrative experience may suffice in the absence of a degree.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience prioritizing and managing time with little direction.
• Attention to detail, especially with reporting.
• Understanding of Marketing concepts and processes
• Ability to learn, adapt and follow processes (pertaining to systems, workflows, overall marketing processes/procedures)
• Adept with software applications that include Acrobat, Word, and Excel
• Proficient in Jira and Confluence with the ability to create dashboards and advise on workflow design opportunities.
• Understanding of digital content such as websites, social media, online advertising, and email campaigns is a plus.
• Ability to comprehend and follow brand guidelines. Basic understanding of design principles is helpful.
