JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
The Marketing Automation Specialist is responsible for activating content and assets in the Marketing Automation stack by focusing on optimization of content by way of reporting, analytics, and test and learn strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Activates analytical views, campaigns and content within the Marketing Automation stack related to the following: Performance dashboards, Landing pages, CTAs, Emails, Core site content, and Workflow automation.
  • Works as partner and liaison to provide analytical guidance to partner agencies, internal analytical units, and marketing managers so as to optimize content for the following: Core site, Email, Landing pages, SEO, Onsite and offsite content, SEM, Keywords, and Sales CRM environments.
  • Responsible for applying and maintaining pixel/tag environments.
  • Creates workflows and customer journey maps to guide the build of the campaign/process.
  • Works with other Marketing Automation stack members to serve in capacity as marketing data steward.
  • Provides insights and works with other partners to pursue optimization of content through thoughtful analytical exercises and discipline.
  • Works with marketing managers and other Marketing Automation stack members to identify positive trends, gaps and benchmarking to gauge success.
  • Key hands-on expert and developer for more advanced digital functions of the Marketing Automation stack such as: Pixel placement and management, Tracking URLs, Content optimization, and UX and A/B testing.
  • Stays abreast and aids in any Marketing Automation stack development roadmap items.
  • Works with other business units and external partners to activate new approaches to traditional campaign management on the Marketing Automation stack.
  • Maintains operational structures and processes in the Marketing Automation stack.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with particular focus on digital marketing analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree Required; Degree in Business, Decision Sciences, Digital Marketing, Marketing, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as use of digitally-focused marketing analytics tools such as Salesforce.com, Google Analytics, Tableau, Domo, Omniture, Marketo, etc.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (i.e. Financial Services, Healthcare, Gaming, etc.) preferred.
  • Familiarity with predictive lead scoring.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and/or HubSpot preferred
  • Understanding of current web development coding language preferred

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
  • Ability to operate related equipment to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 25 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
