Marketing Automation Specialist

Ministry Function:

Serves Convoy of Hope by bridging the gap between COH Working Groups and Salesforce Marketing Cloud Platform. This role encompasses strategic project management, data science, and relationship management. Responsible for ensuring adoption and ongoing success with Marketing Cloud Platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Serve as an expert in the Marketing Cloud platform including the capabilities and integrations with Salesforce.
2. Support the technical execution of integrated marketing strategies for various working groups through our Marketing Automation platform.
3. Collaborate cross-functionally with working groups across the organization as a strategic Marketing Automation advisor for innovative uses and marketing channel best practices.
4. Align with working groups to clearly define Marketing Automation requirements, priorities and timelines for seamless hand-off to the project management team.
5. Assist in identifying opportunities and implementing solutions to utilize Marketing Automation capabilities to help the marketing team to deliver a positive prospect and customer experience.
6. Build and maintain Marketing Automation documentation
7. Serve as expert in segmentations, lists, data extensions and define how segments are created and automated.
8. Maintain and monitor active automations and journeys.
9. Monitor deliverability for all multi-channel marketing campaigns, keeping benchmark documentation, flagging deliverability concerns, and providing solutions when necessary
10. Work closely with IT, data, finance, and digital teams to prioritize, execute, integrate, maintain, and measure marketing programs and campaigns.
11. Measures and provides detailed reporting on various projects including but not limited to Intelligence Reports and Salesforce Dashboards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or related field preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
2. 1+ year experience in Marketing Cloud or related program.
3. 1+ year experience building emails using templates, HTML, and CSS
4. 1+ year experience in Adobe Suite.
5. Experience with email automation strongly preferred.
6. Strong project management skill.
7. Ability to use PC/Mac and software programs proficiently.
8. Strong organization skills, attention to detail and the ability to concentrate in a fast-paced environment.
9. Ability to successfully multi-task, efficiently and accurately completing each project within time deadlines.
10. Serve as an advocate for the ministry, striving to nurture, broaden and develop financial and other resource opportunities to support and expand organizational and program ministry.
11. Ability to positively represent the ministry of Convoy of Hope, including its mission statement and core values, to all outside constituencies.
