MARKETING ASSOCIATE
We are looking for an energetic and passionate marketing professional to join our team. This position is responsible for managing the marketing activities and supporting sales efforts. The ideal candidate can work well both independently (a motivated self-starter) and collaboratively (within a team), and thrives in a multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plan and execute demand generation marketing activities
  • Develop, proof, approve, and drive social media campaigns across all platforms
  • Copywriting for entire brand: generate ideas, create concepts, develop text, etc.
  • Lead draft stage through finished product with new and existing content
  • Market research including competitive company and product analysis
  • Establish and execute innovative account strategies for key distributors and markets
  • Formulate plans to drive dealer sales and enhance brand value under constantly changing conditions
  • Manage asset organization to ensure available deliverables: media kit, pricing, literature, catalog, etc.
  • Validate content accuracy through various step-verification processes: descriptions, specifications, etc.
  • Manage advertising business plans to maximize marketing efficiency
  • Track & report on marketing budgets
  • Responsible for evolving and updating content to coincide with continuous improvement marketing efforts
  • Help with analyzing, revising, and managing pricing and customer discount structures
  • Act as a project manager by coordinating work for co-workers within the marketing team
  • Assist graphic designer with product photos/videos as needed
  • Contribute to overall customer user and brand experience
  • Assist with SEO optimization internally and with partnering distributors
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to ensure optimal web accuracy and functionality
  • Report directly to Director of Sales & Marketing on daily and weekly activity
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of VCIs products
  • Become a product expert on features & benefits, and product solutions to educate sales and customers
  • Be an active team player throughout VCI in order to achieve wider company objectives
  • Maintain positive attitude and open line of communication with co-workers and customers
  • Provide feedback and expert insight to management and cross-functional teams
  • Problem solve and generate practical and sensible solutions with customers and colleagues
  • Assist with tradeshow coordination and staffing as needed
  • Replicate responsibilities for VCI to CEG (Collector's Edition Garage) sister brand
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4-year degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2+ years of successful marketing experience
  • Excellent writing skills throughout various content (i.e., blogs, email, social, press, etc.)
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to generate/analyze reports, present ideas/analysis effectively, and make strategic decisions
  • Strong business acumen with desire for leadership and management
  • Knowledge of material handling, industrial industries, and distribution model is a plus but not required
  • Experience with the following is a plus but not required: copywriting, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, social media platforms (all), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), WordPress, ERP systems (Epicor), CRM systems (Salesforce), Click2Sell, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
