The Marketing Assistant supports all aspects of True Health’s Marketing efforts. Tasks include, under the lead and direction of Marketing Director, providing assistance with internal and external marketing efforts, these efforts will include both administrative duties and mascot duties as True Health’s mascot, Mr. Bee.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Administrative Functions:
- Assist with and/or coordinate all marketing activities to include internal and external initiatives
- Represent True Health in the community at events, meetings and speaking engagements
- Assist with developing and implementing marketing plans and projects
- Assist with fundraising projects
- Other duties as assigned
Mascot Functions:
- Represent True Health in costume as mascot Mr. Bee at True Health locations and in the community
- Attend events as scheduled
- Greet and engage guests of all ages
- Adhere to dress code and appearance guidelines
- Participate in the filming of any videos including Mr. Bee
- Care for the mascot costume and adhere to storage requirements
- Other responsibilities as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred, 1 year of customer service experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva is a plus
- Excellent written English language skills
- Sales & customer service experience
- Experience in coordinating events
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Conflict resolution
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual a plus
- Experience in a healthcare setting
RELATIONSHIP REPORTING
- Reports to the Director of Marketing
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to wear mascot costume both indoor and outdoor
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
- Requires bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing.
- Ability to work events that may be held outdoors.
