Job description

Pro Quality Cleaning is looking to hire a part-time Marketing Assistant set at 20 hours per week. The job is four hours a day, Monday - Friday. The specific work shift will depend on personal preference for person hired. For example, it could be 9am-1pm, 10am-2pm, 12pm - 4pm, etc. Pay is $16/hour.

The purpose of the position is to assist the business development manager in conducting activities to support the new business revenue growth. This person will assist the Business Development Manager with day-to-day activities as described below.

Previous sales experience is NOT required, but solid phone skills and the ability to have a conversation with essentially a stranger over the phone is a must.

You are NOT attempting to sell anything over the phone. This is more of a conduct research-type position and making phone calls when needed to gather information from a prospect.

Prospect Customer Research

  • Using internet research and various other information sources, locate qualified prospects.
  • Using internet research and other information sources, gather contact information for possible decision-makers at qualified prospects.
  • Enter complete and accurate information for all qualified prospects and contacts.
  • Update prospective customer database as new information is gathered.
  • Meet weekly with the Business Development Manager to discuss ideas/suggestions/obstacles for maintaining prospect information in the database.

Initiate Initial and Ongoing Contact with Prospective Customers

  • Work with the Business Development Manager to establish/adjust the outbound initial contact and nurturing strategies (calls, voicemails, emails).
  • Using outbound telephone calls and emails, establish initial contact with prospective customers and maintain contact via nurturing calls and emails.
  • Record gathered information in the prospective customer database
  • Schedule appointments for the Business Development Manager where appropriate
  • Meet weekly with the Business Development Manager to review initial contact metrics.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
