Los Angeles-based, high-growth, global production studio and all-rights distributor with a focus on Kids & Family entertainment. Company has a successful track record releasing movies theatrically and through major digital platforms, including Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Amazon Kids + Roku and more. Responsibilities for Marketing and Sales Manager
● Directly reports to the VP of Sales and VP of Marketing, providing regular updates on account management, sales initiatives, and marketing campaigns supporting theatrical, SVOD, TVOD and AVOD releases.
● Assists Marketing VP with marketing asset management and delivery including trailers, digital and social media, and influencer content
● Manages select TVOD, SVOD, and AVOD accounts independently
● Assists the Sales VP in managing larger TVOD, SVOD, and AVOD accounts.
● Facilitate partner marketing with film exhibitors and ticketing companies e.g. AMC, Cinemark, Fandango
● Manages and leads sales initiatives, focusing on but not limited to Kidsflix linear channel, comedy, and Spanish language content.
● Coordinates sales and marketing meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the Viva Films org.
● Assists in coordinating Viva trade and consumer events to enhance brand visibility and Sales opportunities.
● Assists in tracking Viva's film distribution, ensuring accurate and up-to-date sales and distribution progress information.
● Acknowledges that additional roles and responsibilities may evolve based on the departments and the organization’s needs.
Qualifications for Marketing and Sales Manager
● Proficient in creating compelling presentations to communicate sales and marketing strategies, initiatives, and results effectively.
● Previous experience in managing sales initiatives and marketing (preferred)
● Demonstrated success in growing and maintaining relationships with key accounts (preferred).
● Knowledge of social media landscape and social media marketing
● Strong communication, interpersonal and partnership skills.
● Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
● Adaptability to evolving roles and responsibilities.
● Knowledge of the entertainment industry, especially in the streaming and content distribution sectors.
● Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
● Ability to work collaboratively within a sales and marketing team.
● Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
● Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
● Willingness to learn the business of entertainment.
● Photoshop experience is a plus
