About You

We are looking for a driven Marketing and Communications Intern. The goal is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. Social media specialists and Interns should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the creation of digital content (e.g. website, social media, training videos, product release assets, and podcasts).
  • Maintain accuracy and boost brand awareness in our web presence.
  • Maintain a strong online company voice through social media.
  • Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Product development teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Assist with updating platforms with content.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital media developments.

A candidate in this position will likely have:

  • Solid knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Designer, Illustrator etc.), Premiere Pro, Audition, or other media editing software.
  • Able to confidently navigate WordPress
  • Experience with Video Content Creation
  • Experience with visual communication principles.
  • Familiarity with web design and content management systems.
  • An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • BS degree in Marketing, Digital Media, or relevant field strongly preferred.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
