Description
Job Summary:
The Marketing Analytics Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of fact-based reporting, analysis, and analytical models used to enhance decision making across the marketing function within SLFCU. This role owns the data and analytic agenda for marketing and oversees continuous improvements in reporting / BI, database segmentation, third party data, etc. The Marketing Analytics Specialist supports the Growth organization with insights and predictive models to produce improved results and impact.
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Oversees evaluation of marketing campaigns to support growth strategies.
  • Develops reporting and analytic capabilities to support tracking of key KPI's, campaign performance, and funnel metrics.
  • Investigates SLFCU data to determine groups of members who are most likely to benefit from SLFCU products and services.
  • Develops strategic marketing targets for campaigns and communications; create queries to extract targets from data systems and ensure accuracy of data. Analyze responses for effectiveness and adjust approach as necessary.
  • Leads development of advanced analytics such as modeling, segmentation, and profitability measures.
  • Partners with the data and analytics team on the development of an internal data warehouse to support acquisition and portfolio campaigns as contact history information, including integration of the marketing database for email campaigns.
  • Collaborates closely with other leaders on campaign executions, ROI measurement requirements, and results implications.
  • Gains buy-in for measurement models from key stakeholders and connect results to actionable business application.
  • Oversees development of dashboards and standardized reports to provide ongoing insight to key stakeholders and work to ensure utilization and adoption of reporting by these stakeholders.
  • Leads the creation and maintenance of appropriate marketing key performance indicators, ROI models, and predictive analytics for marketing campaigns to determine efficiency and effectiveness, provide optimization recommendations, and influence marketing campaign planning.
  • Leads ongoing enhancements to SLFCU's marketing mix model to increase accuracy and ensure alignment to relevant business decisions/challenges.
  • Develops an understanding of regulations pertaining to target selection in a financial institution; help ensure target selection meets regulatory requirements.
  • Assists SLFCU in implementing further development of our data program and data sources, including predictive marketing. Recommend improvements to SLFCU's Marketing data program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge in building data structures to automate and support campaign processes as well as analytic functions.
  • Ability to optimize marketing programs through use of segmentation and advanced analytics,
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience using business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Tableau, as well as programming languages such as Python, R, SQL.
  • Knowledge of digital advertising analytics, including data from Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, social media and email marketing, etc...
  • Strong ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations and to translate business objectives into marketing goals and measurements.
  • Thorough understanding of target market selection and list management

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum five years of experience in marketing operations and analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as math, statistics, accounting, finance, or economics or more than five years' experience may be substituted for a degree.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
Salary Description
$73,300 - $91,640 annually (DOE)
