Detroit Design House Marketing Agency is growing, and seeking an ambitious, go-getter & Social Media enthusiast to join the team!

As a Social Media / Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy across various platforms for multiple brands within our Marketing Agency. Your creativity and strategic thinking will help us engage our audience effectively. Must be comfortable to work on marketing across industries including hospitality and the local cannabis industry.

The perfect candidate is cued into the local cannabis industry, but also knowledgeable and interested in working on local restaurant, nightlife, and retail business Social Media accounts.

The candidate will be working closely with our creative team of graphic designers, photographers, and videographers, to devise Social Media marketing campaigns and communicate with agency clients. Our marketing firm is located In Ferndale, MI and has a casual and artistic office vibe.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Monitor Social Media channels for industry trends and competitor activity
• Develop and expand our clients online communities
• Publish, and manage all creative content (images, video, graphics) on clients Social Media platforms.
• Schedule posts for multiple clients’ accounts daily to Instagram & Facebook
• Communicate with client monthly to set up new marketing initiatives
• Participate in client’s asset planning to ensure that unique content needs / opportunities for social are captured.
• Implement a consistent brand look and feel throughout each clients marketing channels.
• Collaborate with our in-house creative team of graphic designers, Photographers, and videographer, to plan and coordinate post content, and continue gaining knowledge about our clients.
• Oversee flow between graphic designs and clients on graphic design projects.
• Monitor and respond to comments and messages on Social Media.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Knowledge of Michigan canna culture, brands, and products.
• 1+ year of experience within a Social Media Manager or similar role, preferred.
• Experience in Copywriting is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A strong portfolio or previous work examples
• High attention to details with the ability to work methodically and manage multiple projects.
• Highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, Instagram, Facebook.
• Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe, Canva, Constant Contact,
• Basic knowledge of cannabis, industry, and culture.
• Must be compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the Cannabis industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
