Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipe Benders for a project located in Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Bend Pipes from 2-6 inches and Bend up to 180 degrees
Bending rolling offsets and 90's in a hand bender and machine benders
Brazing for face feed and inserts
Tack welding pipe and hangers
Hand prep piping, backing rings and butt welds using a grinder or cutting machine
Requirements:
Journeyman Pipefitter with aMinimum of 5 Years Experience Pipefitting on a Marine Vessels
Able to Read Blueprints for Navy Vessels, Micrometer and Feeler Gauges
US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen
Able to Pass a Drug Screen & Background Check
OSHA 10 Certification; TI does offer course to qualified Employees who have yet to obtain the Certification
Must wear proper PPE
