This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is based on experience and skill level plus per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job-site.If you are an Outside Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:
Valve replacement
Test boiler operations
Install sea valves, hydraulic components, and hull inserts
Read complex drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and sketches
Use lapping, and blue checking tools
Operate lathe
Valve overhaul steam and Wog
Requirements
- Must have 7+ years Maritime Outside Machinist experience
