Trident Funding is excited to add a new Loan Processor to our Annapolis Office! As a Loan Processor, you will be responsible for assisting/supporting Inside Sales and Underwriting Teams with the origination of consumer loans via omnichannel delivery solutions (phone, internet, and mail). You will assist business partners and customers by providing information for consumer-related loan products.

What You’ll Do

• Responds to inbound phone and internet requests for new consumer loan applications.
• Offers knowledgeable technical support to clients who need help troubleshooting our online platform.
• Partners with Inside Sales and Underwriting teams to support consumer loan product education, customer financial needs, and loan options.
• Maintains knowledge of all products and services to respond to customer inquiries and completes customer interest rate quotes.
• Provides administrative support for the department by handling mail and fax routing, imaging of documents, updating opt-out data bases, filing, and other clerical duties as necessary.
• Cross-sells additional products & services and/or refers to other business units within the company as appropriate to deepen relationships of existing clients with the company.
• Provides clerical assistance and support to ensure proper customer communications and loans are closed in a timely manner.
• Assists lien perfection to ensure timely processing of liens/titles/registration.
• Ensures that all consumer loan applications are made in full compliance with the company and applicable regulatory policies.
• Supports and assists fulfillment area when necessary.
• Responds to customer emails and website inquiries.

What You Should Have

• Strong knowledge of banking, including sales and customer service.
• Demonstrated knowledge of consumer loans, related laws, and regulations.
• Strong customer service skills including excellent telephone demeanor and positive attitude.
• Superior attention to detail.
• General knowledge of RV and marine product details.
• Ability to learn and work within new systems and procedures.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math proficiency.
