Marine Canvas Stitcher

With 38 years in business, Hallett Canvas and Sails is looking to add to their team to help the overall growth and maintain the high demand workload. We are seeking a team member who cares about quality, has a sense of urgency, and can stitch like a madman/woman! Currently, in a leading position in the industry for Marine Canvas and sail production in Maine, we hold great opportunity for new and current employees to grow in a career of a lifetime producing custom designed projects such as dodgers, awnings, enclosures and more. Industrial sewing experience and marine industry experience is required.

The ideal canvas fabricator/sewer will be able to measure projects, create templates/patterns, cut and sew large and small canvas projects, provide exceptional fit and finish detailing, and be able to install and adjust products to meet customer expectations. Projects range in sizes from 12' dinghy's to 100' mega yachts. Some projects include some of Maine's finest restaurants, businesses and waterfront properties. This is the stuff of dreams, channeling your inner creativity and getting out on the water while stitching and developing the growth of HCS!
