We are dedicated to hiring the most well-qualified people to join our team. We are currently seeking a full-time Marine Bottom Painter/Detailer.
Job Summary:
Grand Banks Yachts Services Marine Bottom Painter/Detailer should be able to demonstrate skills with preparation and application of marine paint systems per manufacturers specifications.
The ideal candidate will bring a working knowledge of the materials and tools used in marine coatings and detailing.
Responsibilities:
- Surface preparation including mechanical sanding, solvent cleaning and use of related equipment and materials.
- Masking and protection of surfaces including taping, outlining, general covering, scaffolding and tenting.
- Application of anti-fouling paint.
- Running Gear coatings.
- Replacement of Zincs.
- Compounding and waxing of gelcoat and painted surfaces.
- Ceramic Coating application.
- General vessel detailing.
- Perform other related duties as necessary and assigned.
- Follow safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate, service and maintain a range of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work from 8am to 5pm weekdays.
- Strong communication skills.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have valid driver's license.
- This is a Drug-Free workplace, and all applicants must agree to a pre-employment background screening.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime as needed
- Weekends as needed rarely

Compensation: $18/hr to $30/hr
