THIS POSITION performs a wide variety of complex analytical and technical duties related to the maintenance of digital assessment maps and datasets. This position also has duties related to the processing of documents in the Land Records Division at an advanced level with a greater degree of responsibility.
- $19.44 to $23.10 per hour depending on experience

DO YOU QUALIFY?
- Do you have an Associate's degree from a two-year college in Surveying, Civil Drafting, Cartography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) OR related field and a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible related work experience ORcombination of work and experience?
- Must complete the Idaho State Tax Commission (STC) Appraisal Course 1 ANDthe International Association of Assessing Officer's (IAAO) or its equivalent within 12 months of assignment of duties in this position.
- Do you possess or are you able to obtain a valid driver's license and are you insurable?
THIS IS THE JOB FOR YOU IF:
- You are able to read legal descriptions, deeds, contracts, court documents, plat books, maps, surveys and software procedure manuals
- Desire to obtain STC Cadastral Mapping Certification
- You have interest in the property tax assessment process and its relationship to County governanceincluding mapping and geographic information systems (GIS) technology
