Warehouse Associate
A leading Carbide Cutting tool company with operations in North America is looking for a Warehouse Associate in Arlington Heights. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the warehouse. The individual will handle the receiving, storing, and distributing of products, materials, and supplies, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The individual’s attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our warehouse operations.
Work Hours: 30-35 hours a week
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Receive incoming shipments and compare them with purchase orders or invoices to verify accuracy and quality of products.
· Inspect and properly store incoming products in designated storage areas, ensuring they are properly labeled and organized for easy retrieval.
· Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring they are packaged securely and in accordance with shipping guidelines.
· Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software to track and record inventory levels and movement.
· Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, making appropriate adjustments in the system as needed.
· Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move, load, and unload products as required.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals and meet customer demands.
· Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Skills:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
· Prior experience in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory management software.
· Basic computer skills and the ability to use software applications for inventory tracking.
· Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to {30 lbs}) on a regular basis.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
