Malone is hiring a Team Leader for a Toyota Supplier on the South Side!

Team Leader Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of 5 -15 team members
- Achieve 100% customer satisfaction; 100% on time delivery, 100% satisfaction of quality standards, 100% correct sequencing
- Focus on continual improvement and operational efficiency through excellence in receiving, identifying, inspecting, and assurance of quality and inventory control of inbound/outbound shipments.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of activities and employees performance.
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees
- Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
- Maintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
- Review and communicate changes needed to established Work Instructions (WIS) as needed; continually analyze areas for improvement in existing processes.
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
- Set clear team goals
- Oversee day-to-day operation
- Discover training needs and provide coaching
- Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
- Ensure the safety of the team members assigned to your area
- Ensure defects are within company standards as well as all other key performance indicators.
- Ensure all team members are following the posted work instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized working area following 5S
Team Leader Requirements:
- Must submit a Resume
- Must submit to background check and drug screen
- Must be flexible to work any schedule, and potential daily overtime with some weekends
- Ability to speak, read, and write English required
- Basic math skills required
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, stoop for 8-12 ours shifts
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled area (where applicable)
- Ability to operate a forklift (where applicable)
Pay Rate: $16.25 – $17.25 depending on experience and shift
