A family-owned company that has been in business for over 50 years is looking to add a talented Shift Lead to their team! This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a company that specializes in the manufacturing and distribution of quality fasteners.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with production teams to meet production targets and quality standards.
Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Ensure all production processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Conduct safety orientations for new employees, emphasizing the importance of adherence to safety protocols.
Implement ongoing safety training programs to promote a culture of safety within the workforce.
Monitor and enforce safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Foster clear and effective communication channels among team members.
Address employee concerns, grievances, and inquiries promptly and professionally.
Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss goals, updates, and areas for improvement.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for team members, providing constructive feedback.
Collaborate with the HR department to identify training and development opportunities for employees.
Recognize and reward outstanding performance to motivate and retain talent.
Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency.
Implement strategies to streamline workflows and reduce production costs.
Collaborate with relevant departments to implement technological advancements that improve overall production efficiency.
Oversee the timekeeping system to ensure accuracy and compliance with attendance policies.
Address attendance issues promptly and implement corrective measures when necessary.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a production environment.
Strong Excel Experience
Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Proficiency in timekeeping and attendance management.
Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
Pay: $23.00 – 25.00/hr. based on experience.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:15pm – 10:15pm
