Job Description
The selected candidate will be a Manufacturing Project Manager (MPM) for the Acoustics-Rapid COTS Insertion (A-RCI) program. The MPM will represent Production Operations as the primary interface to the LM Program Management Office (PMO), technical operations (engineering), sourcing, quality and finance teams and act as Control Account Manager (CAM) for manufacturing scope on assigned program. The MPM will develop and execute manufacturing program plans and schedules to ensure successful execution of production with correct staffing levels. The MPM will lead the manufacturing support team through problem resolution efforts by understanding program goals, and schedules. Upon completion of deliverable items, the MPM will coordinate shipping information with the program manager and communicate to packaging / shipping organization. The MPM will also support proposal preparation of both new business and changes in scope to existing program.
As a CAM, the MPM will be responsible for Earned Value Management, establishing and statusing material & labor baselines, and assessing Risks & Opportunities. The MPM will also participate in Capacity Planning for the site by providing details on future forecasted work to the Plant's Master Scheduling Team and by collaborating with Master Scheduling to maintain manufacturing & test schedules for active projects. The MPM will be a primary contributor to the development of process improvements aimed at improving cost and schedule performance by leading and engaging cross functional teams to identify and capitalize on areas of opportunity.
A level 3 employee is typically mid-career and has 3 to 5+ years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Project management experience
• Demonstrated full spectrum leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to influence peers both within and outside of Production Operations
• Ability to drive team to implement solutions to complex problems
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively communicate to team, peers and leaders
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and support multiple internal efforts simultaneously
• This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration
Desired skills
• Experience in the RMS ASW enterprise Technical Insertion model that is used to manage system obsolesce and add new features/capabilities to the customer
• Control Account Manager (CAM)
• Proposal experience - costing and / or BOE authoring
• Experience leading a manufacturing effort
• Lean / Six Sigma green belt or black belt certified
• SAP and/or Solumina experience

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $82,200 - $157,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
