Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Nesco Resource is seeking a Direct Hire Manufacturing Production Supervisor for local Milford Company.

Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a Manufacturing Production Supervisor to oversee our production operations, ensuring maximum quality and profitability. Responsibilities include monitoring employees, organizing workflows, and analyzing manufacturing process efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.
• Manage workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
• Guide and coach employees, monitoring their productivity.
• Oversee safe equipment use and schedule regular maintenance.
• Verify production output meets specifications.
• Prepare and present performance reports to senior managers.
• Identify efficiency issues and propose improvements.
• Train new employees on machinery usage and procedures.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and handle disciplinary issues.
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly goals are achieved.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma required.
• Technical or manufacturing training strongly recommended.
• Production planning experience essential.
• 2-3 years' manufacturing experience, with preference for those with group leader or supervisory experience.

Behavioral Skills:

• Excellent communication and teambuilding skills.
• Ability to work independently while following instructions and guidelines.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with inflexible deadlines.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in advanced Planning and Scheduling techniques.
• Experience operating machinery and tools.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. easily.
