Manufacturing Production Supervisor Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $40.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• "Position’s Purpose: Responsible for managing manufacturing teams and coordinating day-to-day production activities to assure the safe manufacturing of products, meeting work order due dates, on time delivery, and high product quality.
• Quality Assurance: a. Provide Quality support and decision making (24/7) to production operators regarding all facets of the manufacturing process.
• Ensure Quality Standards set-forth by Quality Assurance are maintained by production operators.
• Facilitate team meetings and tool box meetings.
• Communicate and coordinate production scheduling with the production team.
• Coordinate execution of production schedules for areas.
• Establish effective communication lines/methods; identify and solve employee problems; manage conflict
• Manage employee and team performance: a. Maintain written documentation on performance for each assigned production operator
• Work with employee to develop and agree to annual Goals and Objectives
• Review quarterly employees progress toward meeting annual Goals and Objectives – provide relevant feedback and improvement opportunities.
• Mentor and help develop production workers.
• Participate in new hire interviews and hiring recommendations.
• Display leadership, problem-solving skills, and flexibility.
• Promote and encourage self-managed team environment.
• Work with Customer Service, and Planning, in coordinating the manufacturing of sales orders.
• Audit and maintain safety policies and procedure"

Manufacturing Production Supervisor Qualifications:

Education & Experience: - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred - Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in field/technical/manufacturing area Special Knowledge & Skills: - Thorough understanding of manufacturing scheduling process. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Problem solving skills."
