We are a health/wellness based product company that specializes in sheet metal manufacturing for finished/packaged products and custom wood/carpentry products for high end installations. We are not a job shop; we are high volume production company. We have two production facilities to be managed with approximately 10 production-based employees. Leadership skills are a must as well as hands on participation in all areas of production when needed. Strict adherence to production processes, with process refinement when needed. We are looking for a professional who will not only manage each area/employee in production but also manage inventory and ensure precise and timely procurement. Computer skills are required as our inventory systems and task based production Que is computer program based (Zoho).
Add’l Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency and productivity
- Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production planning and scheduling
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Implement quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain management to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing supervisors and operators, providing guidance and support
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Proficient in using MRP systems for production planning and inventory management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex situations and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
