What you’ll be doing:
- Investigate and troubleshoot product issues, utilizing expertise in designs, materials, and processes.
- Address operational challenges such as material variances or bottlenecks to enhance efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process and product improvements, implementing changes to drive cost reduction and enhance quality.
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies like lean manufacturing to elevate manufacturing standards.
- Provide technical support and expertise to enhance manufacturing operations.
- Conduct thorough reviews of product designs for manufacturability and completeness.
- Analyze root causes of failures and recommend design or process changes as needed.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for new Manufacturing Processes and procedures.
- Design efficient equipment layouts to optimize productivity.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Prior experience in office furnishings or cabinet industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, with assembly process experience preferred.
- Proficient in troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
- Familiarity with quality assurance metrics and statistical analysis.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm in navigating changing priorities.
