Schedule: Monday-Friday (This is not remote-work position)
Position Summary:
Directs, coordinates, and manages all plant production operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance. Will obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally and through subordinate supervisors. Reside within 40-mile radius of production facility
- Leads the Shift Managers and Process Managers. Including mentoring and coaching to develop their knowledge, skills, and understanding of the production process and leadership principles
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws
- Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring direct reports; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Work effectively and relate well with middle management team, senior leadership, and support departments. Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others. Promote and encourage team cohesiveness. Maintain constructive and positive working relationships with and among team members.
- Directs process improvements and production operations
- Recognizes and directs problem-solving activities impacting "Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Moral"
- Maintain environmental vigilance to monitor leaks, spills, or violations of any city or state regulations. Ensures a safe, clean, and healthy work environment and promotes safe work habits. Build and develop operations organization, processes, and procedures to support strategic direction
- Responsible for continuous improvement of products, processes, and procedures utilizing such tools and programs as Lean, 5-S, Self-Directed Work Teams
- Works with R&D team and Process Managers to develop, maintain, and refine standard running conditions for new and existing products
- Interacts with ENTEK Manufacturing in the scheduling and resolution of engineering design and process concerns
- On site physical response in a timely manner during plant crisis or plant disruptions
- Implement cost effective systems to ensure manufacturing departments' capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries are within or below budgetary expectations

Experience and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or minimum of five years manufacturing and supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must also possess knowledge of or experience with quality systems, human resources, and safety programs
- Proven managerial/supervisory skills of providing leadership of value-added and highly motivated teams and gaining results through Servant Leadership
- Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple disciplines simultaneously
- Proficient PC skills to include Excel, MS word and PowerPoint
- Able to develop a business plan and execution strategy
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to then develop reasonable solutions at both the strategic and functional level. Ensures decisions are made using facts and data.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Experienced in the implementation of LEAN practices
- Previous experience in working in an IATF 16949/ISO 9001/14001 environment would be an asset
Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities:
Critical knowledge
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to understand and communicate in conversational English, including following verbal and written direction
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret most documents

Job Benefits:
Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000
