The Plant Manager will provide leadership to the Moorestown, NJ location and be focused on the continuous improvement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost initiatives. The Manager will provide leadership through continual employee development, product flow, equipment utilization, facilities, and the continuous systemic improvement in all functions. The Plant Manager will be a key leader in developing and executing the Framebridge Business System (FBS) and Kaizen events. This Manager will monitor progress and create action plans as necessary in order to meet business goals, while developing people in the process. The Plant Manager will have complete responsibility and accountability for the location’s success.
Job Responsibilities
● Lead the plant to improved safety, quality, delivery, and the cost performance.
● Develop a results-oriented culture through a respect for people.
● Drive the elimination of waste on a consistent and continual basis.
● Attain or beat budgetary needs for the Moorestown, NJ location, including evaluating the
success of assigned location and identifying opportunities for improvement.
● Work to improve the performance of employees through consistent and continual leadership.
● Provide guidance and direction to department managers regarding the continual improvement
of operations, for which they have ownership.
● Review and evaluate manufacturing activities, performances and results through the FBS.
Prioritize improvement plans and execute improvements through Kaizen events.
● Maintain open communication with plant employees for all business topics.
● Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, EEO, and other
federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
● Provide reports and feedback of plant performance to company leaders.
● Develop and drive feedback through a robust performance management system.
● Demonstrate a commitment to Kaizen based improvements and respect for employees.
Required Experience
● Bachelor’s Degree - in Business, Industrial Management, or Engineering.
● Education experience may be substituted for with extensive leadership experience in
manufacturing.
● Experience in executing Lean, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma strategies.
Preferred Additional Experiences
● Certified as a Lean Master, or Six Sigma Black Belt.
● Proficiency leading a diverse manufacturing environment ranging from CNC machines to custom
handwork.
● Experience in a fast-paced, consumer business.
● Experience working in a custom-product business.
