Manufacturing - PCB Technician (SMT)
Start ASAP - Up to $40.00 per hour
JobGiraffe's client is a manufacturer of technologies for the automotive industry
As PCB Technician you will:
- Test and evaluate electronic components
- Support product design, development and prototyping and associated debugging processes
- Assemble and solder surface mount printed circuit boards
- Coordinate and collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams
- Create cost estimates and bills of materials for new prototypes
- Source/procure and evaluate all required components
- Run routine and special reports
- Conduct routine, special and ad hoc analysis
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
An ideal candidate profile will include:
- At least 8 years of Electronics Technician / PCB Technician / SMT Technician experience
With:
- Experience in Circuit Board Design process
- Experience Assembling and/or soldering SMT Circuit Boards
- Experience sourcing and evaluating Electronic components
- Experience debugging electronic circuits
- Experience prototyping electronic circuits
Pluses:
- +++ Related experience from the Automotive Industry
- +++ Experience with Circuit Board Layout Tools (PCAD, Allegro)
- +++ Development experience with PSPICE, especially Cadence Capture

This is a contract assignment that is anticipated to last 6 months (approximately 26 weeks) or longer.
Partial benefits will be available from JobGiraffe throughout the duration of your contract assignment.
