Job Opening: Powder Coat Operation, K5 Process, and Warehouse Operations
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in an exciting opportunity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring painting requirements are met in terms of quantity and quality while minimizing costs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining supplies in inventory, training and supervising employees, and developing appropriate procedures for start-up, operation, shutdown, preventive maintenance, and trouble-shooting of Paint Line/K-5/Warehouse operations.
Powder Coat Operation
- Develop understanding of powder coating line theory and operation
- Ensure required documentation is kept up to date
- Maintain required quantity of supplies in inventory
- Train, supervise, and assist employees as needed
- Develop appropriate procedures for start-up, operation, shutdown, preventive maintenance, and trouble-shooting of Paint Line/K-5/Warehouse operations
- Ensure that all employees are properly trained and coached on the safety aspects of all activities
- Enforce work rules and implement 6S program in all areas
- Develop PM plans and schedules and train employees
K5 Process
- Ensure painting requirements are met in terms of quantity and quality while minimizing costs
- Learn coating procedures and complete them as needed in the event of an absence
- Ensure that required documentation is kept up to date
- Maintain required quantity of supplies in inventory
- Train, supervise, and assist employees as needed
- Develop appropriate procedures for operation, preventive maintenance, and trouble-shooting
- Ensure that all employees are properly trained and coached on the safety aspects of all activities
- Enforce work rules and implement 6S program in all areas
- Develop PM plans and schedules and train employees
Warehouse Operations
- Pull flashings for movement to MB1 LTL shipments
- Manage inventories
- Organize and maintain good housekeeping practices
- Load and unload truck load shipments
- Drive Box truck as needed between warehouse and main plant
- Complete warehousing/shipping information as requested
- Ensure that required documentation is kept up to date
- Maintain required quantity of supplies in inventory
- Train, supervise, and assist employees as needed
- Develop appropriate procedures for operation, preventive maintenance, and trouble-shooting
- Ensure that all employees are properly trained and coached on the safety aspects of all activities
- Enforce work rules and implement 6S program in all areas
- Assist with warehouse and shipping operations at MB1 as needed
- Manage monthly inventory to ensure accuracy
The ideal candidate should be proficient in:
- High School / GED
- Meeting Physical Requirements
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Shop Math Skills
Salary info:
$70000 - $75000 / hr
