The position will be responsible for operating equipment and performing labor to manufacture orthodontic products. With the aid of drawings, schematics, cut sheets, bill of materials or process documents the team member will create high quality finished products in an efficient manner. Team members are expected to cross-train between a variety of sub-departments within the production area, such as packaging, assembly, molding, and welding as they may be asked to move between areas or manufacturing processes as needed.
KEY TASKS
- Measuring, marking, and using hand tools and/or powered tools for assembly and sorting of products.
- Operating machinery and troubleshooting issues that may arise
- Continuously working with and/or assembling very small, intricate, and delicate parts
- Using magnifying stations or microscopes
- Monitoring finished product for possible deficiencies in quality
- Notifying management of materials needed to complete tasks
- Recording and/or maintaining accurate logs of production and quality
- Maintaining a clean work area
- All other additional tasks assigned throughout course of employment
