Where You'll Work:

Our Evansville, IN, location is part of our Coatings division, and creates various breading, batter, and coating blends for Kerry brands and customers. The starting wage for this role is $21.82 per hour.  This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime.  In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

 3rd Shift hours are 10 pm to 6:30 am   Our Evansville site is located at 1515 Park Street, Evansville Indiana 47710.

What You'll Do:

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area. 
• Follow oral and or written work instructions. 
• Ensure cleanliness of the workstation when beginning work 
• Verify and feed raw materials into the production process. 
• Ensure products produced meet quality and food safety standards. 
• Check yields and investigate discrepancies. 
• Maintain accurate production records. 
• Monitor machinery for malfunctions. 
• Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues 
• Report food safety problems 
• Clean workstation and equipment at shift-end
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures, General Manufacturing Principles safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct! 
• Participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety! 
• Perform other duties as assigned! 

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent 
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment. 
• Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment. 
• Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required. 
• Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion. 
• Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment. 
• Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens. 
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
