We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee our production operations. You’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees, organizing workflows, and work within our ERP system to ensure inventory and production is on track. In this fast-paced environment you must be competent and comprehend complex operations and understand how to manage the team and the job duties given to you. You should be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs. The primary focus of this position is to understand the operations of NEWP and be able to coordinate and manage the flow of goods and products, as well as manage the team.
Responsibilities
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Production coordination **
- Serves as a resource to operations for operational problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement implementation.
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Oversee and coach employees
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Check production output according to specifications
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Asset and material inventory and ordering
- Provide leadership and direction for operating and maintaining facility work
- Manage day to day production factory operations
· Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
· Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
· Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
Skills
· Masters degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Management
· Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
· Experience with hardware, software, and solutions troubleshooting
· Experience managing a team
- Experience with compliance and audits preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills

Pay: $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
